Welcome to the crazy class of Mrs. Turner, where students become investigative historians. My 7th-grade seekers of history will participate in many activities designed to have students engage, learn, and have fun.

I was born and raised in San Diego. I received my Bachelor's degree, teaching credential, and Master's degree from San Diego State University. I have taught in CVUSD my entire career, starting as a 6th-grade teacher at Magnolia Elementary many years ago, and then moving to Cajon Valley Middle School when 6th grade transitioned to middle school. I was among the teachers who opened Los Coches Creek Middle School, also teaching 6th grade, but for the last 5 years, I have been able to teach my passion, which is history. I've been teaching history to 6th-8th graders, but 7th-grade World History is by far my favorite. Moving to Hillsdale allows me to focus on 7th-grade history, so I'm more than excited to be here! I look forward to getting to know my students and their parents!
