Labor Day marked the return for both the teachers and students of the Cajon Valley Union School District to “labor” in their schools, classrooms, and playgrounds.
Sept 9 - The Cajon Valley Union School District is one of several districts choosing to reopen schools in-person after San Diego County was given approval by the state.
Sept 9 - EL CAJON, Calif. — The Cajon Valley Union School District is one of several in the area choosing to reopen schools in-person after San Diego County was given the green light by state officials. Starting Wednesday, thousands of East County students will return back to the classroom.
The preschool program is state-funded and offered by the Cajon Valley Union School District.
Due to Coronavirus (COVID-19), children who are eligible for free or reduced-price meals at school will get extra food benefits.
These food benefits are called Pandemic EBT or P-EBT benefits. P-EBT benefits help families in California buy food when schools are closed because of the coronavirus emergency.
Cajon Valley Union School District Child Nutrition will be conducting drive-thru / walk-up distribution of daily meals, free to all children 18 years and younger. Children will need to be present to receive meals, and each child may take one meal bag (including one lunch and one breakfast) for the following day.
