Achievement Grades will be calculated using percentages within weighted categories

60% Quizzes
40% Classwork

*Students are encouraged to resubmit work that does not meet standard or that scores 70% or less.

*Students are given the opportunity to earn bonus points that may be added to existing scores in Zangle.

Effort Grades will be calculated based on

• Preparation - students bring and maintain daily materials 
• Participation - students ask questions, collaborate with classmates, and focus during class discussions
• Task completion - students accurately complete assignments and submit work on time

Citizenship Grades will be calculated based on

• Classroom Conduct - to what degree do students contribute to a positive classroom culture
