Yes, families may submit an application for new students beginning July 1, 2025.

If I have children that attend other school districts, will they receive benefits based on the application submitted to Cajon Valley Union School District (CVUSD)?
No, CVUSD is only able to process applications for students enrolled in our school district. Families must apply directly through each district their children are enrolled in.
Will I be notified once my application is reviewed to inform my family if we will be receiving SUN Bucks benefits for my child(ren)?
Yes, once your application has been reviewed and eligibility has been determined, your family will receive an email communication from the District.
Does Cajon Valley Union School District distribute SUN Bucks EBT cards?
No, our district only assists in collecting applications and submitting the information to the California Department of Education. The EBT cards, for those eligible, will be sent directly from the state to the family.
