Sabrinaย Copeland

Hello Wildcats!

I am honored and excited to introduce myself as the new principal of Los Coches Creek Middle School. As we prepare for the 2025–2026 school year, I want to take a moment to share a little about myself and my hope for the year ahead.

I am a forward-thinking educator, rooted in strong values, and dedicated to building a school community that honors where we’ve been while boldly stepping into the future. As a school community, I believe we are strongest when we support one another, practice kindness, and grow together. At Los Coches Creek, we will continue to be innovative in our approach to teaching and learning, offering real-world, hands-on experiences that help our students thrive in and beyond the classroom.

I believe that relationships are at the core of everything we do. I look forward to getting to know each of you and building meaningful relationships with our students—learning about their strengths, interests, learning styles, and values. I pride myself on being an advocate for students and families and on celebrating the many successes of our school community, both big and small.

I’ve been married for 26 years, a mother of two girls (19 and 21), and a passionate educator who is deeply committed to student growth and community connection. Over the years, I have had the privilege of teaching multiple grade levels—including middle school—and serving as an instructional coach, assistant principal at Magnolia Elementary, and most recently, the principal of Crest School for the past five years. I am a lover of dogs, coffee, pilates, college football (Go Oregon State Beavs!), and enjoy long walks to clear my mind.

I’m thrilled to join the LCC family and begin this new chapter with you.

Looking forward to learning and leading together,

Sabrina Copeland, Principal
