Degrees and Certifications:

Susan Baugher

Hello! My name is Susan Baugher and I teach 2nd grade at Naranca Elementary School. This is my 16th year teaching at our amazing school and there’s no place else I’d rather be! I taught Kindergarten my first 11 years at Naranca, and this is my 5th year teaching 2nd grade. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development from San Diego State University and my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential as well as my Master’s Degree in Education from National University.

My favorite part of being a teacher is seeing that moment when my students accomplish their goals.  Whether a small goal or a big one, it is so gratifying to be a part of each students’ success in learning.  Every day brings something new and exciting in our classroom and it is so fun to watch my students learn and grow.  I love the community our staff, families, and students have created at our school...everyone has a place at Naranca!

When I’m not at school, I enjoy spending time with my two daughters and my family.  Most weekends you can find us at the softball fields but we also like traveling, going to the movies, camping, and just being at home together for family time.
