I am so excited to welcome you to TK in Room 21 at Fuerte.  This is my twelfth year at Fuerte.  I have taught 16 years in kindergarten, 1 year as a TK/K combo, and this is my second year in a straight TK group.  I have also taught preschool, first grade, third grade, fifth grade, and reading intervention...all together, this is my 26th year of teaching.  I grew up in Spokane, WA and attended Washington State University - Go Cougs!  There I received a BA in Early Childhood Education and a BA in Elementary Education.  I moved to San Diego in 1999 with my husband and earned my MA in Reading Curriculum in Elementary Education from SDSU.  I have 3 boys who are all former Fuerte Falcons.  Rilen is now a junior at Valhalla and Braedy and Cam are attending college locally.  I am so proud to be a Fuerte Falcon!  I'm looking forward to a great year!!  (See below for "get to know me" fun facts and photos).
