Mrs. Carnegie
Welcome back Lexington Leopards! My name is Chelsea Carnegie. I am honored to return to Lexington Elementary School! This is my 11th year as a School Counselor at Lexington. This school and community hold such a special place in my heart! Last school year, I was humbled to receive the 2025 San Diego County Office of Education's Elementary School Counselor of the Year award. This year, I am excited to announce that I will be transitioning into a new role as Lexington's MTSS School Counselor. This position will provide new opportunities for me to contribute to systematic changes that set students up for even greater success. I received my Masters in Counseling at the University of San Diego and have been privileged to serve Lexington students and families ever since. I strive to ensure that students have the support needed to become their best selves. My hope is that I make you and your students feel seen, heard, and valued. I strive to make you and your students feel that you belong at Lexington. Please never hesitate to contact me with questions, concerns, or any needs that you might have. I am always here to support all students and families! Here is to a great 2025-2026 school year!

Welcome back, Leopards!
I am so excited to be one of your school counselors here at Lexington Elementary! This will be my 9th year as a counselor, and my 4th year at Lexington. What I love the most about my job is being able to support all students in becoming the very best versions of themselves! Our students are truly special, and I am so grateful I get to work with such an amazing group of students every day.
In my free time I love to cook, play with my daughter and watch baseball (Go Padres!).
I am here to support, so please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or concerns:
