Update on Ed Code 51930-51939 and Cajon Valley's Human Relationship and Sexual Health program

The trustees of Cajon Valley believe that parents are the first and best teachers in explaining sexual health education to their children. We respect the views of all our families and understand that there are diverse cultural and religious views on this topic. Currently, a series of sexual health lessons are provided only in seventh and eighth grade. We do not teach sexual health in grades kindergarten through grade six.  This curriculum is optional. Parents may excuse their child from this instruction. We encourage any parents with any concern to complete the opt-out form linked below. Future updates related to this topic will be provided on the Cajon Valley website.
