Guest (Substitute) Teachers

Welcome to the Cajon Valley Union School District! As a Guest Teacher, you are important to us. It would be difficult to operate our schools without persons such as yourself providing continuity of service during absences of regular staff members.

To become an essential part of our team please do the following:

Additional Application Requirement:

• Current teaching credential / or substitute teaching permit
• Tuberculosis (TB) test results-administered within the past 4 years
• Clearing house fingerprint clearance (Fingerprinting can be completed at the San Diego County Office of Education Credential department. For information, please visit SDCOE.)

After applying via EdJoin, you will be contacted to attend one of our Guest Teacher screening interviews via Zoom.

If you do not currently hold a valid California Teaching Credential, please visit SDCOE for information on how to obtain a substitute permit.
