Welcome to Emerald Middle School, a California Blue Ribbon School and a California Distinguished School, where we celebrate Powerful Learning for academic achievement and the Emerald Way for character development! Our 1000+ sixth, seventh, and eighth graders come from 14 different countries around the world, and we have many unique and wonderful programs to help them all develop into global learners! We are proud of our diverse and eager students, long-standing traditions of academic excellence and school safety, and positive connections with its families and community. The Emerald staff holds high expectations of our students and provides a caring environment, which fosters respect and an appreciation of individual differences. We offer a stimulating, integrated curriculum, which addresses a wide variety of academic needs and reflects the interests and unique characteristics of our students. Our four technology classroom labs and two mobile computer lab carts emphasize computer literacy, math/science, writing, reading, and technology arts; and our EmTv Broadcasting Studio is another of our technological innovations.
